TimeZest requires certain permissions to operate correctly with your ConnectWise Manage instance. We recommend creating a specific Security Role for TimeZest so that you can grant it only the permissions it needs to run.

  1. In ConnectWise Manage, go to System > Security Roles

  2. Create a new role called TimeZest

  3. Customize the permissions as follows:

After granting the Table Setup permission, click customize and ensure the following tables are listed in the Allow access to these column:

  • Activities / Activity Status-CRM

  • Activities / Activity Type

  • Contacts / Communication Type

  • General / Calendar

  • General / Holiday

  • General / Manage Hosted API

  • Project / Project Board

  • Scheduling / Location

  • Scheduling / Reminder Time

  • Scheduling / Schedule Status

  • Scheduling / Schedule Type

  • Service / Priority

  • Service / Service Board

  • Service / Source

Note: Tables requiring Allow access need to be in the left column.
