Your security is of the utmost importance to our team and for that reason under no circumstances will TimeZest support turn off 2FA for an account where it has been configured. This is a vector of social engineering attacks that can be used to bypass 2FA, and thus render it useless. Administrators can disable 2FA for other users if required (e.g. after losing a device).

Temporarily disabling 2FA for a specific user

Only a system Administrator can temporarily disable 2FA for users for a new device to be set up.

Go to Users > Configure > Security > Disable two-factor authentication for next login.
