The Find or create a contact in HubSpot action instructs TimeZest to attempt to either find an existing contact in HubSpot matching the user's email address, or create a new contact in HubSpot. In both cases, the HubSpot contact will be associated with the scheduling request.
The associated HubSpot contact can be used by a "Create a HubSpot Meeting" record which is associated with this contact.
This action is available when your TimeZest account is connected to HubSpot.
Configuration Options
The New Contact Handling setting determines the exact logic that TimeZest uses when creating a company record in HubSpot.
The first option will instruct TimeZest to try and find a company whose domain property matches the domain of the users email address - e.g. if a user enters "[email protected]", TimeZest will look for a company in HubSpot with "mygreatcompany.com" set as their domain.
The second option will also attempt to match the contact to an existing contact and company. If it cannot, then the contact will be created but it will not be associated with a company.
Additional Logic
TimeZest will skip this action when:
When there is already an existing contact with the client's email address in HubSpot
When no HubSpot integration is configured
