To add HubSpot actions, the appointment type needs to be in Workflow mode. Click the link below for more information on how to convert the appointment type to Workflow mode: Introduction to Workflows

The HubSpot integration has two actions that appointment types can execute to handle scheduling requests: Find or create a contact in HubSpot and Create a meeting in HubSpot.

Find or create a contact in HubSpot

The New Contact Handling setting determines the exact logic that TimeZest uses when creating a contact.

The first option will make an attempt to match the contact's information entered in the TimeZest scheduling request page to an existing contact and company in HubSpot. Otherwise, it will create a new record.

The second option will also attempt to match the contact to an existing contact and company. If it cannot, then the contact will be created but it will not be associated with a company.

Create a meeting in HubSpot

When an appointment is scheduled, TimeZest will use this action to create a HubSpot Meeting and associate it to the contact's record in HubSpot.

The Title field will be used for TimeZest to create the new meeting in HubSpot with this title.

The Meeting Type field allows you to set the type of meeting using the HubSpot meeting types.

Your HubSpot subscription must be on the Sales Hub Professional or Enterprise plan in order to add/edit meeting types.

The Description is content that will be added to the Attendee description section of the HubSpot meeting.
