The Post a Microsoft Teams chat message to scheduled users action is available when you have installed the Microsoft Teams (Messaging) Integration, and allows you to send a configurable message to the scheduled users on a scheduling request.

This makes it possible for Teams notifications to be sent when end users schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments, as well as timed reminders before and after scheduled meeting times.

For this action to function, the TimeZest Teams Bot must be enabled for the individual users who will be messaged. This action also relies on scheduled users, which are the actual users the appointment is scheduled with, which are only known by TimeZest after the appointment has been scheduled by the end user.

Configuration Options

The Message field allows you to specify the message for TimeZest to send. It supports interpolation of variables as well as conditional display of sections of the message.

Additional Logic

TimeZest will skip executing this action if the Microsoft Teams (Messaging) Integration is not installed.

TimeZest will also skip this action if it is executed before the scheduled users for a scheduling request are known.

TimeZest will also not send notifications to any scheduled users who do not have the TimeZest Teams Bot enabled, as this is required for them to receive chat messages.
