Grant Temporary Support Access

Grant TimeZest Support temporary, time-limited access to your account so our team can investigate and resolve issues faster.

Written by Jason Casuga

Overview

When you reach out to TimeZest support for help troubleshooting an issue, our team may ask you to grant temporary access to your account. This allows a TimeZest support agent to view your configuration and reproduce issues directly, helping us resolve problems faster without requiring lengthy back-and-forth.

This access is time-limited, transparent, and fully in your control.

What Temporary Access Allows

When you grant temporary access, a TimeZest Support agent can:

  • View your account configuration

  • Reproduce scheduling and dispatch issues

  • Investigate behavior within your environment

Temporary access does NOT allow our team to:

  • Change your password

  • Retain access beyond the duration you select

How to Grant Temporary Support Access

  1. Log in to your TimeZest account.

  2. Click your profile picture in the bottom-left corner to open the profile menu.

  3. Click Grant Temporary Access.

  4. In the dialog that appears, configure the following:

    • Access Duration - Choose how long access should be granted: 24 hours, 48 hours, or 3 days.

    • Issue or Reason (Optional) - Provide a brief description of the issue you're experiencing to help our team get up to speed quickly.

  5. Check the box confirming: "I understand this grants TimeZest Support temporary access to my account for debugging purposes."

  6. Click Grant Access.

Once granted, a TimeZest Support agent will be able to access your account within the selected time window.

Revoking Access Early

You can revoke temporary access at any time before the selected duration expires.

To revoke access:

  1. Open the profile menu in the bottom-left corner.

  2. Click Grant Temporary Access.

  3. Select the option to revoke the active access session.

Access will be terminated immediately upon revocation.
