Introduction

The below table displays each TimeZest built-in role's permissions they have within each section of the TimeZest app.

Appointment Types

  • Can view Appointment Types: User will be able to view the settings of each appointment type.

  • Can add/create Appointment Types: User will be able to create a new appointment type.

  • Can edit Appointment Types: User will be able to edit the settings of each appointment type.

  • Can delete Appointment Types: User will be able to delete an appointment type.

Users

  • Can view Users: User will be able to view the settings of each user's profile.

  • Can add/create users: User will be able to invite and create new users to TimeZest.

  • Can edit Users: User will be able to edit the settings in a user's profile.

  • Can disable 2FA at next login: User will be able to disable 2FA for another user at their next login. Refer to Resetting Multi-Factor Authentication for more information.

  • Can activate/deactivate users: User will be able to enable or disable the toggle button next to user's profile to activate their license and be a schedulable user.

  • Can activate/deactivate my appointments as "Private Appointment" in Calendar HQ: User will be able to set the appointments on their calendar to display as "Private Appointment" in Calendar HQ if they wish to keep their appointments private.

TimeZest will always honor the "Private" setting in a Microsoft 365 event and will automatically display the appointment as "Private Appointment" in Calendar HQ.

  • Can delete Users: User will be able to delete a user's TimeZest profile.

Teams

  • Can view Teams: User will be able to view all teams and their settings.

  • Can add/create Teams: User will be able to create new teams.

  • Can edit Teams: User will be able to edit existing team's settings.

  • Can delete Teams: User will be able to delete teams.

Branding

  • Can view Branding: User will be able to view the settings of the Branding page.

  • Can edit Branding: User will be able to edit the settings of the Branding page.

Email Settings

  • Can view Email Settings: User will be able to view all settings in the Email Settings screen.

  • Can edit Email Settings: User will be able to edit settings in the Email Settings screen.

  • Can add/create Email Templates: User will be able to create new email templates.

  • Can edit Email Templates: User will be able to edit existing email templates.

  • Can delete Email Templates: User will be able to delete existing email templates.

Custom Attributes

  • Can view Custom Attributes: User will be able to view all custom attributes and their settings.

  • Can add/create Custom Attributes: User will be able to create new custom attributes.

  • Can edit Custom Attributes: User will be able to edit existing custom attributes.

Account & Billing

  • Can view Account & Billing: User will be able to view the settings of the Account & Billing page.

  • Can edit Account & Billing: User will be able to view the settings of the Account & Billing page. They will also be able to access the TimeZest billing portal to see billing information.

Security & Permissions

  • Can view Security & Permissions: User will be able to view all settings in the Security & Permissions screen.

  • Can edit Security & Permissions: User will be able to edit the settings in the Security & Permissions screen.

  • Can add/create roles: User will be able to create new roles (if your plan allows roles to be created).

  • Can edit roles: User will be able to edit existing roles (if your plan allows roles to be edited).

  • Can delete roles: User will be able to delete existing roles (if you plan allows roles to be deleted).

  • Can download scheduling requests as CSV: User will be able to download the scheduling requests as a .csv file when in the TimeZest Dashboard.

API Keys

  • Can view API Keys: User can view the settings of all API keys.

  • Can add/create API Keys: User will be able to create API keys.

  • Can edit API Keys: User will be able to edit existing API keys.

  • Can delete API Keys: User will able to delete existing API keys.

Integrations

  • Can view Integrations: User will have the ability to view all integrations and its settings.

  • Can edit Integrations: User will have the ability to edit and save the integration's settings. The user will also be able to remove the integration.

Calendar HQ

  • Can view all calendars: User will be able to see all user's calendars in Calendar HQ.

  • Can cancel appointments: User will be able to cancel appointments in Calendar HQ.

    • If Can view all calendars is disabled, the user can only cancel their own appointments.

  • Can reschedule appointments: User will be able to reschedule appointments in Calendar HQ.

    • If Can view all calendars is disabled, the user can only reschedule their own appointments.

  • Can reassign appointments: User will be able to reassign appointments to other users.

    • If Can view all calendars is disabled, the user cannot reassign appointments.
